How it Works
Western Visions® Intent To Purchase Sale Format
- Each artwork will be sold via a fixed-price draw. The artist sets the price.
- Ticketed patrons enter their name (either in person, online, or via proxy) for the piece(s) of their choosing, and on sale night, a randomized drawing selects the winner.
- The sale is an intent-to-purchase format, as any patrons drawn are obligated to purchase at the listed price, regardless of the number of lots they are drawn for.
- The Conditions of Sale will apply.
- Intent-to-purchase entries are accepted in person, online, and by proxy from August 1, 2025 until 6:45 p.m. MDT on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
- From Friday, September 12, 2025 until Sunday, September 28, 2025 remaining lots will be available for public open sale in person and online on a first-come-first-serve basis at the listed price.
- All artwork sales are final and there are no exchanges, refunds, or substitutions.
Tax Deductibility
According to IRS Rules and Regulations, the only tax deduction which may be made related to the purchase of an item from a non-profit organization is the amount paid in excess of fair market value. We suggest that you consult your tax professional to determine the tax deduction(s) (if any) for your specific purchase(s).
Payment
- All art purchases require payment in full at the time of purchase.
- A 3.5% credit card processing fee will be added to any payments made via credit or debit card.
- 7% Wyoming sales tax will apply to the total purchase price for any piece picked up at the Museum or shipped within Wyoming.
Shipping and Pickup
- A 10% flat shipping fee will be added to all shipped pieces. This fee covers shipping and handling.
- The Western Visions Show + Sale will remain on exhibit through Sunday, September 28, 2025. No artwork will be released prior to Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
- At the time of the purchase payment transaction, lot winners must declare whether they will pick up the artwork at the Museum or elect to have it shipped. All items must be removed from the Museum between September 30 and October 14, 2025 to avoid a $20 per day storage fee thereafter.
